Statement
Filibuster reimagines the gallery as a constructed reality, featuring both a waiting room and a functioning TV studio. Within the studio, a live monologue is broadcast to a screen in the waiting room, allowing audiences to navigate between the distinct environments. This arrangement fosters a liminal atmosphere, highlighting the pervasive influence of media narratives in shaping our perceptions.
Publication from Conference Material
From the material collected, Berger and Wirz have produced a publication featuring Axel Berger's drawings alongside curated artifacts.
Film
Created at Performance Art Forum (PAF) over ten days in October 2023 with a single shot duration of 46:00.
Presented on a television in a bathroom at PAF, the film featured a performer guided from behind the camera to refine their presentation and gestures.
Performance
Performed at Lewisham Art House as part of Touch Glass 2024.
